Our Story

In 2023, Andrew Rockensock and his wife Paige inherited May Construction from Andrew's grandparents, Larry and Rilla, and rebranded it as Northstar Construction, Inc. Growing up working alongside them, Andrew learned the trade from the ground up starting at age 12.

After spending time with larger custom home builders in Fargo to expand his skillset, he returned home with a clear vision: honor his grandparents' legacy while bringing fresh direction and renewed values to the company.

Northstar is that commitment—three generations of craftsmanship moving forward with intention.

Paige grew up in an entrepreneurial family and is well-versed in construction. She earned her degree in strategic communications from North Dakota State University and spent years in government administration—including roles with the U.S. Senate and Minnesota Judicial Branch—experience that shaped her attention to detail and organizational skills. Together, Andrew and Paige returned to their hometown wanting to build a company that genuinely serves their community. When they're not running Northstar, you'll find them coaching youth sports (Paige alongside her father), serving through their church, and investing in local ministries.

Paige

Andrew has been building homes for over 10 years—starting in his family's business when he was just 12. He earned his welding certification from Central Lakes Community College and spent years honing his craft, including time with a large custom home builder in Fargo where he expanded his skillset. Eager to bring those experiences back home, Andrew moved back to his community wanting to help people make their building dreams a reality. He's committed to creating a workplace where his team feels valued and genuinely enjoys showing up to work, and he serves on his local church leadership board.
